The Caird Bardon Community Programme provides grants of between £5,000 and £100,000 to fund community and environmental projects located in Leeds Metropolitan District Wards.
Two levels of grants are available:
Main Grants
- Amounts between £5,000 and £60,000
- Match funding is not required
Flagship Grants
- Each year, a maximum of two grants of up to £100,000 will be available for high profile projects that will benefit large areas of Leeds and its communities
- No more than one Flagship Grant will be awarded per funding round
- Match funding of 25% is required (as well as a CTP Donation)
- A Project Plan must be submitted with your application (Flagship Grants only - a template has been provided, which can be accessed on a later page)
- Unsuccessful applications for Flagship Grants will automatically be considered for a Main Grant award of up to £60,000
There are two funding rounds each year. Details for 2011 can be found below:

The Caird Bardon Community Programme uses an online application process. Applications in other formats will not, therefore, be accepted.

Online applications to each funding round must be submitted to GrantScape between the opening and closing dates stated above. Applications received after a closing date will be automatically submitted to the next funding round, if available.
