GrantScape Supports Inner London's Biodiversity

The programme (called the ‘Inner London Nature Conservation Fund’) was designed with assistance from the London Biodiversity Partnership, the GLA and the London Boroughs Biodiversity Forum. Its launch was supported by the Mayor of London, naturalist Nick Baker, and London Biodiversity Partnership Manger Nick White.

The main judging criterion used in assessing the applications received was the biodiversity value of applicants’ projects; specifically, how projects will help meet the London Biodiversity Action Plan’s goals. In choosing between projects, we also looked to support the Mayor of London’s objective to improve Londoners’ access to nature, particularly where there is a present deficiency.
