Parishes of Kirkandrews-on-Esk, Arthuret, Hethersgill, Kirklinton Middle and Westlinton.

The Fund is open to new applications. There is £66,000 available each year to give out in grants.

Project locations

Projects for which grants are requested must be located within the Parishes of Kirkandrews-on-Esk, Arthuret, Hethersgill, Kirklinton Middle and Westlinton.

There are two application rounds each year to apply to. The next two closing dates for applications are:

Grant Amounts

The Fund allows groups to apply for grants between £250 and £20,000.

Decision Making

Applications are reviewed by a local Advisory Group (AG) that has been established to help decide how the grants will be allocated from the Fund.

The AG comprises:

  • Chair – Cllr John Mallinson (Carlisle City Council)
  • Cllr David Shepherd (Carlisle City Council)
  • Cllr Val Tarbitt (Cumbria County Council)
  • One nominated Parish Councillor from each of the five, covered by the Fund
