The Ysgellog Wind Farm is owned and managed by Arevon Energy (originally developed by Airvolution Energy).

The Fund is open to new applications. There is approximately £14,000 available to give out in grants.

Important Covid-19 Update

In response to the current global Covid-19 emergency, the eligibility criteria for the Fund has been temporarily changed.

Temporary changes to the funding criteria:
• The upper grant limit has been increased to £4,000.
• No match funding will be required for all applications at this time.
• Re-application restrictions have been lifted. Groups that were awarded a grant in 2019 may re-apply.
• Priority will not be given to capital projects and revenue applications will be weighted equally.

The changes relate to applications received before the 5 August 2020 closing dates only. All other criteria will remain unchanged.

Project Locations

To qualify for a grant, your project will need to be located within 4km of the turbines. Please click on the map below to check that your project is located (or will benefit communities) within the 4km radius.

Deadline

There is one funding round to apply to each year. The next deadline is Wednesday 4 August 2021.

Decision Making

Applications will be reviewed by the local Community Advisory Panel (CAP) that has been established to help decide how the grants will be allocated from the Fund.

Grant Amounts

The Annual Fund allows groups to apply for grants between £500 and £2,000.

The upper grant limit for applications to the 5 August 2020 application deadline only is £4,000.
